We are a modern ophthalmology practice in the heart of Bern's old town under the direction of Dr. Isabelle A. Clemetson Marti. Dr. Clemetson Marti has many years of professional experience as an ophthalmologist: before opening her own practice she worked for 10 years as an independent ophthalmologist in Bern and Thun. Her previous training and professional years were spent at the University Hospitals of Basel and Bern and most recently as a senior consultant in Lausanne. Our practice has the latest generation of ophthalmological equipment and uses the most modern technologies. Our understanding of quality is high: our aim is to provide the best possible medical treatment for all our patients. We regularly undergo training and closely follow medical developments in the field of ophthalmology.
Classical Ophthalmology
I look after my patients in all areas of classical ophthalmology. My speciality is the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. I look forward to hearing from you.

Active communication with you is important to us. We listen to you and take the time to understand your concerns. We explain our findings to you in a comprehensible and understandable way. We speak your language and avoid unnecessary technical terms. We are proud of our language skills - Dr. Clemetson Marti speaks German (standard and dialect), French and English fluently. And we can usually cope well with other languages too!

Our actions are committed exclusively to your interests. We are completely independent of other players such as health insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies or other specialists. If we refer you to another specialist, we always do so in consultation with you and solely with a view to finding the best solution for you.
